Hello All,
I'm starting this blog on day 3 of my journey. I'm 20 years old, in college, on a budget, and just came to the realization that I am unacceptably fat. I weighed in at 300 lbs the other day, my record high, and I never want to cross that threshold into the 300+. Sice starting my dieting a few days ago, I've managed to actually lose about 5 lbs. It's probably water weight, that's why it came off so easily and so quickly, but hey, progress is progress, and we should never minimize our achievements. I realize I've got a long ways to go, and it's definitely not going to be easy.
I'm going to be trying several different methods throughout this, and there's one in specific that seemed really peculiar to me. I've read on several websites now that drinking apple cider vinegar twice daily with no other change in your lifestyle can lead to weight loss in obese people. Now, I'm very skeptical of this claim. I've always been of the understanding that the only way to lose weight is through simple math, burn more calories than you take in. I'll link you to this article that I found. It's relatively recent, but it makes some really bold claims about the wonders of apple cider vinegar. Like I said, I'm skeptical, but hey, ACV is super cheap and if this works, well, I'll have a happy many more years tacked onto my life.
For my weight loss, I will be incorporating two table spoons of ACV diluted in two cups of water twice a day into my diet, as well as cutting back on sugars, carbs, and fatty proteins. I'll be eating chicken, turkey, salads. the works. In a few weeks I'll be incorporating a minimum of 30-60 minutes of cardio excersize into my daily routine.
Wish me luck, and I'll let you know if this ACV miracle works out for me or not!
